Only 10 out of 337 metropolitan areas in the United States added construction jobs between February 2009 and 2010, according to figures released Tuesday by the Associated General Contractors of America.
The Central Valley saw a total loss of 18,000 construction jobs, the AGC report says, with the Sacramento metropolitan statistical area accounting for more than half – 9,300 jobs.
